Garlic Feast: delicious garlic-inspired recipes for the quintessential garlic love won: Australia Cookbook of the Year (2017), Best Cookbook in the World (Self publishing and Printing) + Finalist Best Cookbook of the Year in the World at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards the same year. In 2020 Garlic Feast won Best of the Best' Food Books in 25 years at the Gourmands.
My new book launched in August 2021, Winter Wild: a feast of dark delights, inspired by and celebrating Dark Mofo's spectacular Winter Feast, won Australia Food Book of the Year (fighting Covid) in the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in 2021.
Tomato: know, sow, grow, feast - a gardening and cookbook - co authored with Penny Woodward, author and horticultural Editor of the ABC Organic Gardening Magazine + celebrity gardener Karen Sutherland, from Edible Eden Design, won a joint Laurel for Best Book at the Australian Horticultural Media Industry Awards in 2020; and a Gold Medal in the Home + Garden category of the Independent Publisher Awards in New York in 2018.
