WORK WITH ME

Self Publishing

If it is your dream to self publish a cookbook, or beautiful factual coffee table book, as an internationally multi award-winning self publisher, I can offer a wealth of guidance to help you get started as well as providing mentorship along the way! I can also help guide you through the publishing process.

My e-guide to self-publishing will be available to purchase in 2026/2027.

Writing + Editing

If writing is not your forte, and you need help with formulating, structuring, writing and/or editing your new cookbook, food or factual book, I may be able to assist or to help guide you through the process.

As a BBC trained journalist of more than ten years, I can also write or edit press releases, website and other promotional material for your book.

Recipe Curation

Choosing recipes for a cookbook can be overwhelming when you first set out. Having a good balance of recipes is essential for your book's success.

Recipe Testing + Development

I can assist with recipe testing, recipe development, recipe writing, editing + proof reading.

Food Styling, Photography + Editing

Although I styled and photographed images for all three of my books, including over a third of the images for Winter Wild: a feast of dark delights, my photography and editing skills are still evolving. I am not a 'pro' quite yet!

However, I am willing to consider small projects where I can work exclusively from home.

I edit my images in Adobe Light Room Classic and CC.

Events + Exhibition Coordinator

I am one of the founding organisers of Australia's longest running garlic festival, the Koonya Garlic Festival held in Tasmania. I was on the festival committee for nine years, and coordinated the festival programme and media.

Whilst working for the BBC I coordinated numerous outdoor broadcasts and media launches, and played a significant role in helping to organise the BBC's first Radio Show from Earls Court in London.

Whilst a volunteer member for Out on a Limb, Tasmanian Regional Arts, I coordinated and curated several community art exhibitions, including the 'Out of the Ashes' exhibition that toured Tasmania following the devastating bush fires in the region.
